Job Description

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain plastic injection molds
• Diagnose tooling issues causing flash, short shots, sticking, wear, or dimensional concerns
• Perform bench work including polishing, fitting, spotting, grinding, and machining
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and tooling schematics
• Support mold changeovers and startup troubleshooting on the production floor
• Operate manual toolroom equipment including mills, grinders, lathes, and EDM machines
• Collaborate with process engineers and maintenance teams to improve mold performance and uptime
• Perform preventative maintenance on molds and tooling components
• Recommend tooling improvements to increase production efficiency and reduce downtime

You should be proficient in:

• Tool/Die/Mold Repair Skills
• Injection Molding Experience
• Tool/Die/Mold Setup Experience
