Mold Maker, 1st Shift – Moorpark, CA

We have an opportunity for a Mold Maker to join our Moorpark, CA team. You will provide support in the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation in support of manufacturing operations such as machining, plastics processing, welding and brazing, assembly, and material handling.

You will:

• CNC Programming using MasterCam or Cimatron.
• Fit and assemble parts to fabricate and repair Injection Molds, in-line assembly tools, and production fixtures/aides.
• Use cutting tools, jigs and fixtures, gauges, and machinists' hand tools.
• Study prints, sketches, models, or specifications to plan sequences of operations for fabricating tools, mold components, assembly tools or fixtures.
• Develop resolution of problems of limited scope following standard procedures.
• Perform 5S duties as required.

Key Qualifications:

• Ability to read CAD drawings.
• Experience using SolidWorks.
• Good knowledge of all equipment used to fabricate and repair Injection Molds, including EDM machines.
• Under general supervision, ability to exercise judgment in line with an established process.
• Ability to design and develop new tools and dies using software.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 10+ years Mold Making experience.
• Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting and lowering weights.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist consistently throughout shift.
• Steel-toed footwear is required.

Compensation:

The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is $44.00 – $50.00/hour, DOE. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers several factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be determined by considering level of experience, skills, knowledge, training, pertinent education, including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

Shift:

• 1st Shift: 7am-3:40pm
• Overtime and weekends as needed.
