Job Overview:
Our manufacturing client is seeking an experienced Mold Maker to join their tool room team in Fresno, CA.
**Pay Rate : **$40/hr - $42/hr
**Shift: **All shifts
Responsibilities:
Build, repair, modify, and maintain injection molds, tooling, and related components
Troubleshoot mold performance issues and implement effective corrective actions to minimize production downtime
Perform preventive maintenance on molds to ensure optimal functionality and longevity
Operate manual and CNC machine tools, including mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and engineering specifications
Inspect molds and tooling using precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy
Polish, fit, assemble, and test mold components for production readiness
Support new mold builds, engineering changes, and tooling improvement projects
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED along with Journeyman Mold Maker certification is required.
2+ years of experience as a mold maker in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of mold construction, repair, maintenance, and precision machining techniques
Experience operating manual machine tools such as mills, lathes, grinders, and surface grinders; CNC machining experience is a plus
Experience with injection molding tooling and hot runner systems
Experience with mold polishing, welding, and tool fitting
