Position Summary:

The purpose of this position it to maintain the molds for use and storage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply periodic mold coatings per quality requirements
• Prep current molds to meet production gel schedule
• Follow proper mold repair procedures and follow up with part Pullers
• Work with part Pullers in improving part release (blow holes, drafting, coating) and finish
• Inspect new molds and provide feedback to Tooling Shop and Group Leader
• Monitor new molds in Tooling Shop and provide updates to group leader
• Prep (mold record sheet) new molds
• Train new employees as requested
• Consistently look for improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and mold longevity
• Extensive fiberglass repair knowledge a plus
• Must be proactive and able to work with minimum supervision
• Must be able to set priorities in meeting changing schedule demands, keeping customer needs and quality in mind
• Must be able to work overtime on short notice
• Must have good communication and listening skills
• Must have strong quality values

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred

• Able to follow manufacturing instruction and understand processes
• Must practice PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) policies as mandated per area. (Use safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, etc.)
• Must follow company safety guidelines
• Must be fluent in the English language
