We're seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Diesel/Forklift Technician to join our growing Phoenix team. This is NOT a forklift operator position. This is a Mobile Technician role focused on heavy duty truck and forklift repair and maintenance.

What You'll Do

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of trucks, forklifts, and heavy equipment (gas, diesel, and electric)
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to ensure optimal equipment performance and safety
Conduct inspections and tests to proactively identify potential issues before they escalate
Maintain accurate and timely records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities
Respond to service calls for both shop and field repairs
Collaborate with team members to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in forklift and material handling technology
Follow all OSHA safety standards and company policies while maintaining a clean and organized workspace

What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational certification in mechanics preferred
5+ years of experience as a forklift mechanic or heavy equipment technician
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
Capable of working independently as well as part of a team
Valid driver's license and clean driving record (company vehicle provided for field work)
Ability to pass background and drug screening
Must supply own tools (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

OEM certifications (Toyota, Hyster, Crown, Cummins, Detroit, etc.)
ASE or equivalent mechanical certifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
