Responsibilities
Summary – Millwright (who are Mechanics/Welders) must have experience diagnosing, repairing, installing and maintaining industrial equipment.
- Dismantle, assemble or fabricate general equipment (i.e. mills, pulverizers, conveyors, crushers, rotating equipment with belts, chains, fan housings, blowers, motors, etc.)
- Diagnose and make repairs to such general plant equipment as mills, pulverizers, crushers, conveyors, ect.
- Handle heavy, bulky units, in rigging, moving and setting them.
- Make decisions concerning the feasibility of salvaging or scrapping
- equipment or parts removed for repair or replacement.
- Repair, fabricate or improve metals by welding or cutting.
- Use blueprints, verbal instructions, or original ideas to perform the work.
- Use his skill in any part of the plant as required.

- Assist other crafts.

**Work Environment **
May be required to work at heights and/or in confined spaces.
May work alone with minimal supervision or with other maintenance crafts
Work in various areas of the plant, which dependent on the area, environmental conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, and noisy.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalency
Possess a valid driver’s license
Skills assessment and;
Ability to work shift work and rotating schedules; including daily and weekend overtime and call-outs for repairs and break down situations to limit downtime, preventative maintenance tasks, and root cause analysis
4 years of Manufacturing and/or heavy industrial experience working in the skilled trade
