What You’ll Be Doing

  • Receive advanced training in CNC operation, setup, and program adjustments to support the mills and lathe team in producing high-quality, specification-compliant parts on schedule.
  • Create tooling offsets and adjustments to maintain consistent close tolerances.
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate CNC machines and lathes for various operations, including turning, drilling, boring, threading, tapping, and milling.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints accurately.
  • Recognize and troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
  • Collaborate in a team environment to assist coworkers with machining techniques and ensure smooth operations.

What You’ll Need to Win

  • 5+ years of experience (preferred) in a production setting, with skills in setup and operation of mills and lathes.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
  • Ability to manufacture to close tolerances and operate multiple machines.
  • Keen attention to detail, with the ability to recognize part characteristic changes and machine sounds.
  • Solid communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, machine speeds, and tool feeds for optimized operations.
  • Strong analytical, adaptable, and personable attributes to thrive in a dynamic production environment.
