This company located in Santa Anna, CA has been in the business for over 40 years supporting aerospace, medical, and other industries across the country. With about 35 machines and 80 employees, the company is rapidly growing

In this position, the Mill Turn Machinist will work on set up and operation of multiple mill turn machines.

This is a 1st shiftopening on a4x10 schedule M-Th. Optional overtime is available.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC mill turns for short run, complex parts

  • Edit programs at the machine on occasion

  • Perform inspections to ensure conformance of specifications

  • Interpret blueprints for specifications such as dimensions, tolerance & instructions

  • Select and secure holding fixtures, tools, etc

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in setting up and operating CNC mill and lathe machines

  • G & M Code experience

  • Knowledge of safetyprotocolsand shop procedures

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
