The P&W Military APU Program, located in West Palm Beach, Florida has an immediate opening for an ambitious, analytical, and high-energy Aftermarket Program Manager (APM) Lead. The APU APM Lead will be responsible for leading a team managing APU MRO and repairs through our global repair network. Strong analytical skills, ability to learn new systems quickly, capability to prioritize daily tasks, and ability to work independently under pressure on multiple projects are all critical to success in this role.

What You Will Do

Manage a team of experienced Aftermarket Program and Repair Managers (~6 employees) All responsible for the financial performance of the MRO and repair pieces of the aftermarket business
Serve as primary interface for APU aftermarket customers, and act as primary POC for our France and Poland MRO facilities and our third-party LRU repair provider
Understand and ensure customer aftermarket service requirements are met including part repairs, APU/component repairs, technical assistance, service bulletins and other requirements to keep fielded products operational
Coordinate and facilitate aftermarket requirements with functional groups (Finance, Contracts, Business Development, Customer Support Engineering, Support Equipment, Operations, Tech pubs etc.) to support customer needs, and flow down program contractual requirements
Work with customers to understand fielded product reliability, identify areas for improvements, and coordinate with the P&W organization to develop/implement improvements as appropriate
Ensure required export licenses are in place to support aftermarket import/export requirements
Lead or support proposal activities associated with generating additional aftermarket business

Qualifications You Must Have

BA or BS in Engineering, Logistics/Supply Chain, or Business
10 years’ experience in Program Management, MRO Operations or Supply Chain or an Advanced Degree with 7 years’ of Program Management, MRO Operations or Supply Chain experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
Domestic and international travel is required to support business needs

Advanced degree and previous supervisory experience

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
