• MIG/TIG Welder – Steel & Aluminum

  Job Description

  We are seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder with strong skills in welding steel and aluminum. The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints and job orders, perform quality welds to specification, and work safely and efficiently in a production environment.

  Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret job orders, blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications to determine part requirements.

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel and aluminum using appropriate welding equipment, tools, and techniques.

  • Complete welding, cutting, grinding, fitting, and cleaning of metal components.

  • Follow written specifications, verbal instructions, blueprints, and welding procedures.

  • Inspect completed welds and parts to ensure they meet quality and conformance standards.

  • Perform quality inspections throughout the welding process and identify defects or issues.

  • Perform minor machine maintenance and assist with maintaining welding equipment.

  • Work with team members to complete projects accurately, safely, and on schedule.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

  • Follow all company safety policies and proper welding safety procedures.

  Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience with MIG and TIG welding required.

  • Experience welding both steel and aluminum required.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders.

  • Ability to perform quality welds according to specifications.

  • Must be able to pass weld test.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Ability to safely operate welding equipment and related tools.

  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are required.

  Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive welding tasks.

  • Ability to lift, carry, bend, stoop, and work in various positions as required.

  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing/welding environment.
