Job Description

Perform MIG and TG welding on metal components according to job specifications

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements and welding symbols.

Fit, tack and weld parts to meet requirements dimensions and qualift standards.

Weld on various materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum, depending on the project.

Use grinders, cutting tools, clamps, measuring tools and other fabrication equipment.

Inspect finished welds for accuracy, quality and defects.

Assist with layout, assembley and fabircation of metal parts and structures.

Follow all company safety rules, PPE requirements and shop procedures.

Requirements:

Prevous MIG and TIG welding expereinec required.

Must be able to read a tape measure and basic blueprints

Must be able to pass a welding test

Must be able to produce clean, quality welds

Must have expereince in using hand tools, prower tools, grinders and fabrication equipment

Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Must hae reliable transporation

Must be able to pass drug screen and background requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Fabrication shop expereince preferred.

Expereince welding stainless steel and or aluminum is a plus

Bluepritn reading and welding symbol knowledge is a plus

OSHA or Safety certifications are a plus.
