Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding processes, including MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures using MIG and TIG welding techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine appropriate welding methods.
- Utilize hand tools, including grinders, saws, and presses, to prepare materials for welding.
- Operate press brake machines for shaping metal components as required.
- Perform pipe threading and ductwork assembly as part of the fabrication process.
- Ensure quality control by inspecting welds for precision and adherence to safety standards.
- Operate cranes safely to move heavy materials and components within the workspace.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a MIG and TIG Welder with a strong understanding of welding techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery related to metal fabrication.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during the welding process.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials as needed.
