Job Overview:
We are seeking a experinced MIG/TIG Welder for one of clients in **BEDFORD PARK, IL - 1st shift. **The Welder is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components used in industrial filtration systems. This role requires strong welding proficiency, blueprint reading, and the ability to produce clean, accurate welds on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel components.
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
Fit, tack, and weld assemblies according to production specifications.
Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
Operate grinders, saws, and basic fabrication tools as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work area; follow all safety protocols.
Work independently and meet daily production requirements.
Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure proper fit and finish.
Required Skills & Qualifications
MIG and TIG welding experience (2–5+ years preferred).
Ability to weld in multiple positions (flat, horizontal, vertical).
Experience with stainless steel and aluminum welding.
Ability to read blueprints and measuring tools (calipers, tape measure).
Basic fabrication skills (cutting, grinding, fitting).
