We're looking for an experienced
MIG Welder
who takes pride in producing quality work. If you have experience
welding aluminum, can read blueprints, and enjoy fabrication work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd like to talk with you.
Aluminum MIG welding experience is REQUIRED. Applicants without aluminum welding experience will not be considered.
What You'll Do
- Perform MIG welding on
aluminum and carbon steel
components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, work orders, and fabrication drawings.
- Perform fit-up, layout, and tack welding prior to final welds.
- Fabricate, repair, and assemble metal components to specifications.
- Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions as needed.
- Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and appearance.
- Use tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions.
- Grind, clean, and finish welds when required.
- Monitor weld quality to prevent distortion, burn-through, or defects.
- Maintain production goals while producing quality work.
- Keep your work area clean and follow all safety procedures.
- Report equipment or material issues to your supervisor.
Required Experience
You Must Have:
- Minimum 2 years of MIG welding experience
- Hands-on experience MIG welding aluminum (Required)
- Experience welding carbon steel
- Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Experience with fit-up and tack welding
- Experience using measuring tools including tape measures and calipers
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
Preferred Experience
- TIG welding experience
- Welding certifications
- Job shop or custom fabrication experience
- Experience producing both small parts and large assemblies

Physical Requirements
- Stand for 10-hour shifts
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb throughout the day
- Perform repetitive welding and fabrication tasks
- Work in a manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
