Welders / Metal Manufacturing – Full Time

Danville, IL

Nexus Employment is hiring Welders / Metal Manufacturing associates in the Danville, IL area. Please respond for consideration.

Pay & Schedule:

• Full Time
• Weekly Pay
• Starting Pay: $22/hour
• 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday | 6:00am – 4:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Set-up and operate welding equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and sketches
• Follow quality standards to prevent rework
• Perform hourly weld tests and quality inspections
• Lift and move heavy metal pieces while standing, crouching, or bending for extended periods
• Monitor welding process and adjust heat settings as needed
• Calculate and measure dimensions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Excellent attendance and reliability required
• Basic math skills and ability to use measuring instruments
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous stainless-steel welding experience preferred
