Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled 1st Shift Welder with strong experience in MIG welding, specifically working with aluminum and steel materials. This role requires a high level of proficiency, as candidates must be able to work independently with minimal to no training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on aluminum, structural steel, thin core materials, and steel tubing
• Weld materials ranging from 16 gauge to 1/4" thickness
• Set up and operate welding equipment without assistance
• Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints accurately
• Use precision measuring tools including calipers, tape measures, and height gauges
• Ensure weld quality meets required specifications and standards

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with MIG welding on both aluminum and steel
• Ability to pass an on-site weld test during the interview process
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
• Experience using standard measuring tools with accuracy
• Ability to work independently in a production environment

Preferred (Not Required):

• TIG welding experience
