Responsibilities

• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment to fabricate metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Perform quality checks on welds to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve welding issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in the training of new welders as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
• Proven experience as a MIG welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in welding.
• Welding certification is preferred but not required.
