Job Description

We are seeking experienced MIG Welders to join our team on both 1st and 2nd shifts. This role focuses on welding thick gauge metals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong fabrication skills, can read blueprints, and takes pride in producing high-quality welds.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on thick gauge steel and metal components
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
• Set up welding equipment and select proper materials and settings
• Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, saws, and torches
• Inspect welds to ensure structural soundness and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications

• 2+ years of MIG welding experience (thick gauge preferred)
• Ability to weld in multiple positions (flat, horizontal, vertical)
• Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills
• Experience using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, squares)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• High school diploma or GED
