Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dependable MIG Welder to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. This position is responsible for welding and fabricating metal components while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on metal components and assemblies
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, measurements, and work instructions
• Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal components as required
• Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and overall quality
• Use grinders and other hand and power tools to prepare and finish materials
• Identify welding defects and make necessary corrections
• Maintain welding equipment and report any mechanical or safety concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Complete additional fabrication or production duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous MIG welding experience required
• Knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
• Ability to read a tape measure and accurately take measurements
• Ability to read basic blueprints or fabrication drawings preferred
• Comfortable using grinders, hand tools, and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must be able to complete a welding test if required prior to placement
