Job Description

We are hiring an experienced MIG Welder in Monroe, GA. This is a production welding position requiring strong MIG welding skills and the ability to read blueprints.

Day 1 Expectations

• Must be proficient in MIG welding

• Must be able to read blueprints

• Must be able to weld 16-gauge sheet metal

• Experience welding material from 1/8" up to 1/2" thick

• Comfortable working around 27 volts and 400+ wire speed

• Must produce clean, consistent, and uniform welds

Weld Test

Candidates will complete a 1/4" T-plate MIG weld test with an approximately 8" weld. Welds will be evaluated for uniformity, consistency, and overall quality.

Day-to-Day Work

You will spend the majority of your shift reading blueprints and MIG welding steel components together to build racks that are shipped to customers.

Work will range from 16-gauge sheet metal to 1/2" steel, depending on the product.

This is all MIG welding in a production environment.
