We’re hiring a skilled MIG Welder who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and building high-quality work from detailed mechanical blueprints. This is a hands-on fabrication role — not repetitive production — focused on creating large, custom industrial enclosures from sheet metal and structural components.
If you enjoy layout, cutting, fitting, and assembling complex builds while holding tight tolerances, this is a great opportunity to put your skills to work and grow long-term.
What You’ll Do
- Perform high-quality MIG welding on sheet metal and structural components
- Read and interpret detailed mechanical blueprints
- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble parts to precise tolerances
- Use fabrication tools, power tools, and overhead cranes safely
- Support full build processes from layout through final assembly
- Work indoors and outdoors depending on project needs
TIG welding experience is a plus for finer or technical work.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years fabrication or welding experience (5+ preferred)
- Strong blueprint reading and dimensional measuring skills
- Experience welding to tolerance (not high-volume production)
- Comfortable using saws, grinders, drills, and fabrication equipment
- Willing to work extended hours as production ramps up
Schedule & Pay
- Contract-to-hire (6 months)
- $22–$28/hr (have seen up to $30/hr for top experience)
- Standard shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

With overtime up to ~65 hours/week, estimated total annual earnings can range from approximately $90,000 to $121,000+, depending on hourly rate and hours worked.
