MIG Welder

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: up to $23.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and experienced MIG Welder to join our team. This position is responsible for welding steel tubing according to design specifications and blueprints. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a production environment, maintaining quality standards, and performing welding duties throughout the entire shift.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel tubing ranging from approximately 2"x2" to 4"x2" and up to 8-inch tubing. Various other projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and design specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Welding certification is not required.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the duration of the shift.
• Ability to perform welding tasks consistently for extended periods.
• Must be capable of lifting, carrying, and handling materials as needed.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
