Job Overview:

MIG & TIG Welder

Location: Libertyville, IL

Shift: 2nd Shift — Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM

Schedule: 4-Day Workweek | Overtime Opportunities on Fridays

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $25-31 per hour

This is a4-day, 40-hour workweek on 2nd shift, giving you Fridays off while still providing opportunities for additional overtime when available.

The position is primarily focused on MIG welding, with opportunities to utilize TIG welding skills as well. This is a hands-on production welding role suited for welders who enjoy working in a manufacturing environment and taking pride in consistent, quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform production MIG welding on manufactured components and assemblies.

  • Perform TIG welding as needed based on production requirements.

  • Read and interpret basic welding specifications, drawings, and work instructions.

  • Set up welding equipment and adjust settings to achieve proper weld quality.

  • Inspect completed welds for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

  • Follow established production, quality, and safety procedures.

  • Work efficiently to meet daily production requirements.

  • Communicate quality or equipment issues to supervisors or appropriate team members.

Qualifications

  • Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • TIG welding experience is a plus.

  • Ability to produce consistent, quality welds in a production setting.

  • Ability to read and follow welding instructions, drawings, and specifications.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
