Responsibilities

  • Perform Mig and Tig welding on various materials, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Set up welding equipment and tools, maintaining them in good working condition.
  • Inspect finished welds for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance welding skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Mig and Tig welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a welding environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Certification in welding (e.g., AWS) is a plus but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is preferred.
