Job Description

This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

Responsibilities:

• MIG and/or TIG welding processes.
• Must be able to weld in all positions
• Working with mostly carbon and stainless steel
• Ability to fit, tack and weld assemblies made of various aluminum material grades (6061, 5083, & 1100)
• Mostly plate and bar stock in accordance with various welding codes and specifications.
• Use of grinders and sanders obtain required finish per work instruction or specification.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
• Working knowledge of welding symbols.
• Position parts in various jigs and fixtures to obtain correct dimensions and orientation.
• Safely operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, pallet jacks, fork trucks

Qualifications:

• Previous MIG and/or TIG welding experience with heavy metal fabrication experience
• Able to read specifications, drawings and knowledge of materials
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office

Hours:

Mon – Thurs 6:30am – 4:00pm and Fri 6:30-10:30.

The pay is up to $31.00 an hour depending on experience
