This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one
Responsibilities:
- MIG and/or TIG welding processes.
- Must be able to weld in all positions
- Working with mostly carbon and stainless steel
- Ability to fit, tack and weld assemblies made of various aluminum material grades (6061, 5083, & 1100)
- Mostly plate and bar stock in accordance with various welding codes and specifications.
- Use of grinders and sanders obtain required finish per work instruction or specification.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
- Working knowledge of welding symbols.
- Position parts in various jigs and fixtures to obtain correct dimensions and orientation.
- Safely operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, pallet jacks, fork trucks
Qualifications:
- Previous MIG and/or TIG welding experience with heavy metal fabrication experience
- Able to read specifications, drawings and knowledge of materials
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office
Hours:
Mon – Thurs 6:30am – 4:00pm and Fri 6:30-10:30.
The pay is up to $31.00 an hour depending on experience
