Please note this position supports our Weekend Day Shift working Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 AM to 3:00 PM. You will work 36 Hours and be paid for 40 Hours plus earn a 10% pay premium.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.  This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

The individual selected for this position will build Micro-Electronic sub-assemblies.  Working in the Manual cell, using various liquid and sheet epoxies to lay the foundation of every micro-electronics module.  On the TACAIR Microwave Factory on a variety of products including 56C and EPAWSS

As a Microwave Technician on 4th Shift ( Weekend Days ) you will make impacts in the following ways; 
  • Fabricate and/or modifies complex micro-integrated circuit modules or microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies by following specific instructions, such as for wire and ribbon bonding utilizing various manual and automatic bonding machines or using an MRSI microwave component automated pick and place machine.
  • Fabricate and/or modify complex microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies.

Required Skills and Education

  • Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods of time.

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Pick and place experience.
  • Epoxy dispense experience.
  • Able to work with a microscope for an entire shift.
  • Familiar with MIL-STD-883

Typical Education and Experience

Typically a High School Diploma and 1 year work experience or equivalent experience
