Position Summary:
Manages sales support team which serves as an exclusive liaison for all sales personnel and their issues. Supports sales team by providing quantitative sales reporting and program tracking including updates/results of marketing promotions and bill backs. Reports provided as needed and on designated timelines. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Supervises sales support associates to include, but not limited to: staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
  • Serves as exclusive liaison for all sales personnel regardless of issue. Manages and follows-up on all requests and issues.
  • Designs and manages tracking methods for sales and marketing programs; tracks promotions through completion, including regular updates and final results based on established time periods per program. Tracks special programs, bill backs, etc., reporting results to specified parties.
  • Administers and manages all sales incentives, including coordinating resources used in sales tracking, incentive payments (spiffs), processing and communicating results.
  • Records sales results by territory on a weekly basis in order to provide current data to the field and management.
  • Performs as backup to the Customer Service department.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Required Education:
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

Required Experience: 4 - 6 Years
Customer service, sales support or related area.
Team lead or supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Education: Bachelors; Business management, sales / marketing or related area

Preferred Experience: 6 - 10 Years
Customer service / sales support within foodservice industry. Supervisory experience
