Pay Rate: $24.00–$28.00 per hour

Position Overview

ZenTech Consulting is seeking experienced Metals Machine Operators / CNC Machine Technicians for a manufacturing operation in Clearwater, Florida.

We are looking for mechanically inclined individuals with hands-on experience operating metalworking machinery, particularly CNC Swiss, Ganish, and Davenport machines.

Qualified candidates must have experience running production machinery and performing quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Swiss, Ganish, Davenport, and other metalworking production machinery.

• Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent production and product quality.

• Load and unload materials and components as required.

• Perform routine machine adjustments and monitor equipment performance.

• Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process.

• Use micrometers and other precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and specifications.

• Read and follow production instructions, blueprints, and technical specifications as required.

• Identify dimensional inconsistencies and report quality concerns.

• Maintain production efficiency while meeting established quality standards.

• Follow all workplace safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or metalworking machine operation experience.

• Hands-on experience operating CNC Swiss, Ganish, and/or Davenport machines.

• Ability to perform quality inspections using a micrometer.

• Understanding of basic manufacturing processes and production requirements.

• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

• Ability to follow work instructions and production specifications.

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred:

• Experience operating multiple types of metalworking machinery.

• Familiarity with precision machining and dimensional inspections.

• Ability to identify machine performance issues and basic production defects.

• Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Compensation

$24.00–$28.00 per hour

Pay will be based on previous machine operating experience, technical abilities, and quality control skills.
