Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Job description:

Able to properly start and end coil strips without miss hits or die damage.

Ability to start strip through the die and begin continuous machine operation.

Recognize and correct coil straightness or alignment problems.

Thorough working knowledge of decoiler/straightener, ablility to properly and safety load a coil and start a strip as described above. Possess an industrial truck license.

Ability and knowledge to perform setups, including die handling using fork trucks, clamping, alignment adjustments, and minor probe adjustments. Also includes the transfer system changeover between jobs including transfer bars and their adjustment.

Assist with and actively contribute to improving die setting time and techniques.

Job Classification Information-

• Proficient in production card reporting
• Able to perform general quality paperwork, and standard gauging, and data recordings.
• Possesses a BAE Hilo license
• Able to clearly describe and safely operate all available automated coil handling equipment.
• Perform complete set ups including all machine settings (press, feeder, de coiler/straightener, PLS, die protection)
• Analyze and troubleshoot difficult jobs, adjust and document settings during the run as required to maintain part quality and optimum efficiency.
• Perform BOR approval process.
• Demonstrate proficiency in lockout procedures.
• Perform complete set up on all secondary presses.
