Job Description

SUMMARY: 

Working as a member of the Metal Jacket department, the position is responsible for preparing and applying a solution called metal jacket to the surface of pontoons which protects the surface from environmental wear and provides corrosion/chemical protection.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Setting up manufacturing equipment for daily use
• Maintaining equipment and hoists so they can operate safely
• Maintaining the understanding of operating procedures for their machines
• Proposing improvements to the process as needed
• Reporting safety hazards within the work environment
• Be able to stand for long periods of time
• Be able to lift 25 LBS frequently throughout the day
• Supports a Barletta Safe culture by adhering to and advocating for the safest behaviors and proactively identifies opportunities to mitigate job-related risks and hazards.

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Experience with shop tools and equipment required.
• Experience with auto body type work, sanding, dent repair, scratch repair.
• Ability to read prints and drawings.
• Great organizational skills.
• The ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
