SUMMARY:
Working as a member of the Metal Jacket department, the position is responsible for preparing and applying a solution called metal jacket to the surface of pontoons which protects the surface from environmental wear and provides corrosion/chemical protection.
Individuals in this role must have a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced and team-focused environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setting up manufacturing equipment for daily use
- Maintaining equipment and hoists so they can operate safely
- Maintaining the understanding of operating procedures for their machines
- Proposing improvements to the process as needed
- Reporting safety hazards within the work environment
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Be able to lift 25 LBS frequently throughout the day
- Supports a Barletta Safe culture by adhering to and advocating for the safest behaviors and proactively identifies opportunities to mitigate job-related risks and hazards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Experience with shop tools and equipment required.
- Experience with auto body type work, sanding, dent repair, scratch repair.
- Ability to read prints and drawings.
- Great organizational skills.
- The ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
