Metal Forming Press Operator

Pay: $22–$25/hr (based on experience)

Shift: 1st

We are currently hiring a Metal Forming Press Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring metal forming and press equipment while ensuring quality, safety, and production standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Operate metal forming press machines and related production equipment
• Set up tooling, dies, and materials for production runs
• Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance
• Read work orders, blueprints, and production specifications
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating press, stamping, or metal forming equipment preferred
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
