Location:Rogers, MN

Pay Rate: $20.00–$24.00/hour

Position Overview

The Vision Companies is seeking a skilled Metal Finisher / Grinder to join a growing manufacturing team in Rogers, MN. This position is ideal for individuals with experience finishing aluminum and stainless steel who take pride in producing high-quality work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and enjoys working in a collaborative production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Metal Finishing

• Perform rough grinding of aluminum and stainless steel components to remove imperfections
• Polish and finish sand metal parts to meet quality standards
• Maintain consistent finish levels according to production specifications
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy

Production Support

• Operate finishing tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow production schedules and quality standards
• Assist with additional shop duties as assigned
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Safety & Quality

• Follow all company safety procedures and quality requirements
• Report equipment or quality concerns to supervisors
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience finishing aluminum and/or stainless steel
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistent, high-quality finishes
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Willingness to work overtime and assist with various shop tasks as needed

Working Conditions

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, and finishing equipment
• Frequent standing for extended periods throughout the shift
• Fast-paced production environment
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
• Ability to safely operate grinding and finishing equipment
• Manual dexterity to handle metal components and finishing tools
