Job Summary
- Fabricate cabinets to industry standards based upon production drawings, utilizing a variety of metals and a variety of welding and/or attachment techniques. Responsible for his/her own quality assurance and his/her own safety.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for reading and understanding production drawings.
- Responsible for selecting appropriate raw materials (steel or aluminum).
- Responsible for accurately measuring and safely cutting, bending, or shaping materials to match production drawings.
- Responsible for joining and attaching pieces to the cabinet or frame, using a variety of attachment techniques as specified in the production drawings (i.e. mig and aluminum spool gun welding).
- Responsible for replacing lifting bars or bolts, per production drawings.
- Responsible for safely moving completed cabinet to next department.
- Responsible for tracking time and materials in M1 system.
- Responsible for his/her own quality assurance, ensuring cabinets are manufactured to meet or exceed industry standards.
- Responsible for his/her own safety and the safety of those around them.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualificaitons
Education, Experience and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- Min. 2 years of sheet metal experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Welding and safety certification
- Physical aspects of the job

- Must be able to access and function within areas key to productivity.
- Adequate manual dexterity to operate assigned and shared equipment.
- Ability to safely lift and move raw materials and finished product up to 30lbs alone
