Pay Rate: $20+/hour, dependent on knowledge and experience
Additional Compensation Available: $0.90/hour Safety & Attendance Bonus, Discretionary $90/month Gas Bonus, Discretionary Year-End Bonus, Steel-toe Shoe Reimbursement
SUMMARY
The Bender is responsible for all functions of tube bending including setting up, operating, and selecting the correct fixtures and tools needed to complete each job.
Essential Functions (Other duties may be assigned and management retains the discretion to add, delete, or change the duties at any time)
- Maintain a safe work environment to make certain MIOSHA safety rules and regulations are followed.
- Perform production assignments as directed by supervisor.
- Conduct quality inspections using appropriate quality measurement tools (calipers, tapes, height gages, check fixtures etc.)
- Perform production assignments as directed by supervisor.
- Able to interpret technical drawings and demonstrate proficiency in following work instructions.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Must be able to interact in person with peers and the public.
- Must be able to handle high stress situations.

Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience:
- 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively and clearly to others in a group setting.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines set forth in the production schedule.
