Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Operate various metal fabrication machinery, including shears, brakes, and welding equipment.
• Measure and cut metal components to precise dimensions using hand tools and power tools.
• Assemble metal parts and structures according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in metal fabrication is a plus.
• Proven experience as a metal fabricator or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of metalworking techniques, tools, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient in operating welding equipment and other fabrication tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
