Job Title: MEP Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, and Piping)


About Us:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Engineer to join our team. As an MEP Engineer at GrayWolf, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects by overseeing the mechanical, electrical, and piping aspects, with a primary focus on industrial applications.

Position Overview: 

As an MEP Engineer at GrayWolf, you will be responsible for understanding and managing the specifications, requirements, and fabrication processes related to Mechanical (Pumps, HVAC, etc.), Electrical (Panels, cable bus, conduit), and Piping (heating/cooling systems) systems in industrial settings. This role does not primarily involve design work; instead, it focuses on ensuring the efficient and compliant implementation of MEP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Evaluation: Assess project specifications and requirements to understand the mechanical, electrical, and piping system needs for industrial applications.
  2. Fabrication Oversight: Work closely with fabrication teams to ensure the proper manufacturing and assembly of mechanical, electrical, and piping components, adhering to quality standards and project timelines.
  3. Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into overall project plans.
  4. Compliance: Ensure that all MEP systems comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations, as well as any client-specific requirements.
  5. Quality Control: Implement quality control procedures and inspections to guarantee the reliability and functionality of MEP systems.
  6. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve MEP system issues during the construction and commissioning phases.
  7. Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including drawings, specifications, and documentation related to MEP systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Piping Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an MEP engineering role within an industrial setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Piping systems, including pumps, HVAC, panels, cable bus, conduit, heating/cooling systems, etc.
  • Strong understanding of industrial fabrication processes.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
