We are seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical equipment used in healthcare environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, diagnosing equipment problems, interacting with customers, and working independently in the field.
You do not need to be a senior-level technician. Candidates with a strong foundation in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical troubleshooting who are interested in building a career in medical equipment service are encouraged to apply.
Install, configure, test, and service medical equipment at customer locations
Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical equipment issues
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and equipment testing
Read and follow technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
Diagnose equipment problems and determine appropriate repairs
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Manage parts, tools, and equipment needed to support your territory
Communicate professionally with healthcare staff and customers
Provide basic equipment education and support to end users
Manage your daily service schedule and travel throughout the assigned territory
Work independently while coordinating with technical and service teams
Hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, or maintaining equipment
Basic understanding of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical systems
Comfortable using common hand tools and diagnostic/test equipment
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
Ability to learn new equipment and technical procedures
Good communication and customer-service skills
Comfortable working independently in the field
Ability to maintain accurate service documentation
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Ability to lift up to approximately 50 pounds
Willingness to travel frequently throughout the assigned territory
Approximately 1–5 years of relevant technical experience is ideal.

Medical equipment or biomedical equipment repair
Field service
Electronics or electrical repair
Electromechanical equipment
Equipment maintenance
Industrial or manufacturing maintenance
Laboratory or diagnostic equipment
Hospital or healthcare equipment
Military technical maintenance
Other hands-on technical service environments
Medical-device experience is valuable, but candidates with strong transferable troubleshooting and repair experience are also encouraged to apply.
BMET or biomedical equipment experience
Medical device field-service experience
Experience with hospital beds, stretchers, patient-handling equipment, patient monitoring, diagnostic equipment, or similar devices
Preventive maintenance and calibration experience
Electronics troubleshooting, soldering, wiring, or circuit-board repair
CBET certification
Experience working in hospitals or other clinical environments
Experience working in a regulated or quality-controlled environment
