Job Summary
To perform Evaluation, functional testing, basic troubleshooting, and service new or used medical devices according to procedure with high quality standards, within time constraints, and while in a positive, team oriented manner.
Essential Functions
- Analyze and test devices, components, and subassemblies to ensure product functionality and quality.
- Perform complex and non-routine test procedures.
- Isolates and debugs circuits and assemblies.
- Records and analyzes test data and prepares reports.
- Works in conjunction with the engineering group to solve complex problems.
- Operates oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, test fixtures and understands their use and function.
- Works under limited supervision.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
- Must have 2-year technical degree OR 3-5 years of equivalent work experience and troubleshooting skills commensurate with a 2-year technical degree.
- Trained and signed off on at least two Advanced Lines recommended (Advanced Monitors, Advanced Belts, Advanced Chargers).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Be well organized and able to multitask.
