General Summary of the Job
This job provides electrical support in a continuously operating manufacturing facility which makes Tier 1 automotive parts. Prinicipal equipment includes extrusion lines, complex auomated secondary equipment, injection molding machines with auxiliaries, power punch presses and other power equipment. Expedient repair or replacement of equipment or components is necessary to maximize process uptime. New equipment installation is required as necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Demostrate best practice safety attitude and performance.
Troubleshoot and maintain custom electro-mechanical equipment, automated work cells, vision systems and multi axis robotics
Troubleshoot and de-bug PLC programs with varying levels of complexity
Provide effective electrical troubleshooting of electrical and electronic circuits
Pocess a working knowledge of adjustable speed AC and DC drives and motors
Pocess electrical, computer literacy and ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
Initiate and complete technical activities leading to new and/or improved production processes.
Perform preventive maintenance on plant systems and equipment
REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED and 2-year technical degree with 1-3 years experience.
Demonstrable industrial/manufacturing experience

Possess the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; frequently is required to use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. May require frequent lifting of 30+ lbs.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Well lit, clean, air conditioned manufacturing plant
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to machinery with moving parts typical of a manufacturing environment, may be occasionally exposed to fumes.
Earplugs and safety glasses are required PPE in this area. Additional PPE may be assigned as required.
