The Automation Specialist is a technical sales support role responsible for applying automation expertise to assist sales teams and customers throughout the solution development process. This includes supporting product selection, conducting technical demonstrations, and ensuring smooth implementation of automation systems.
As part of a highly collaborative sales and technical team, this role requires strong communication skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and a commitment to shared success. The Automation Specialist works closely with Account Managers, Territory Managers, and vendor partners to deliver best-in-class automation solutions that drive customer value.

Language Ability
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Math Ability:
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of and be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel. Must be able to learn and use the Livingston & Haven Apogee System.
