First rotation schedules to begin in January of 2026. This is a paid position and housing assistance may be provided for qualifying applicants based on ZEON’s relocation policy.
Purpose:
This position is a developmental role, providing college level students an opportunity to practically employ and supplement their course work in a plant environment. Typically, the co-op arrangement is established in the Sophomore year of college and rotates semesters thereafter for three co-op experiences of greater responsibility.
Job Functions/Accountabilities (Essential & Marginal):
- Generate Maintenance weekly schedule and track results.
- Assist to audit Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities and implement improvements.
- Assist to implement the transformation of an excel database to SAP database for reliability, this include Lubrication, Vibration and Ultrasounds.
- Perform audits to storeroom and help with spare parts, obsolescence of materials and to review the BOM for KY plant.
- Identify opportunities and implement solution for schedule breakers.
- Audit the current systems for Work Orders (interaction between operators, interaction between foreman, open/closure of WO) and implement improvements.
- Assist with review of downtimes, MTBF and other key metrics report.
- Perform a cost avoidance report coming from predictive maintenance activities.
- Assist in RCA investigation and implementation of technical solutions.
- Assist in RCM2 analysis and PM optimization projects.
- Assist with Mechanical Integrity and PSM activities.
- Review Maintenance good practices and audit its completion in KY plant.
- Assist and participate in 5S activities.
Qualifications:
Education:
Enrolled in a four (4) year or more college degree program in with an Engineering major.
Skills and Abilities:
- Skilled in use of Microsoft applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work with diverse team environment including interactions with technical staff, administrative staff, engineers, and contract personnel.
