This is a 1st shift position working a 4/10 Monday-Thursday schedule!

The position entails the following job responsiblities:
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Performs a variety of duties assisting mechanical engineers in the development of mechanical and electro-mechanical engineering designs, tests, fabrications, modifications, assemblies and components.
Works from process sheets, diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools and jigs. Assists with analyzing data and recommending modifications to components to meet desired specifications.
Build cables and harnesses as needed according to drawings.

Typical Education and Experience

Typically a High School Diploma and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

• High School Diploma or GED and
• At least 4 years experience
• Must be able to lift 20-40lbs
• Experience following processes and instructions as well as interpreting written instructions and drawings

Preferred Skills and Education

• Lean Manufacturing Experience and/or certification
• J-Standard soldering certification
• Experience with cable and harness assembly
