Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the mechanical pipe fitter, pipe welders, riggers, millwrights, and helpers to ensure optimal performance of the crew and the job.
• Develop and implement job schedules and procedures to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections of project progress and identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and project execution.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for mechanical operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in the industrial piping and machine installation field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical projects or a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
