Responsibilities:

  • Works with the Rubber Engineering Team in developing the processing procedures and parameters for new and existing materials.
  • Acts as technical liaison between rubber group, customer, and maintenance.
  • Identifies, Analyzes and resolves challenges that arise in the operation using effective problem-solving techniques.
  • Establishes process flow and timeline for new product launches.
  • Work with and creates standards for operations procedures.
  • Support and monitor the GROWTTH program.
  • Review current production for improvements in tooling and processes.
  • Reduce tooling damage and secondary operations.
  • Monitor and review non-conforming rate by part and process.
  • Reduce non-value-added operations.
  • Develop and maintain a project list and activity log for regular reviews.
  • Maintain positive communication between all team members on all shifts.
  • Improve and support daily production requirements.
  • Work with customer engineering on sample production.
  • Provide Technical Support and Training for Production Staff.
  • Ensure Compliance with Safety Standards and Industrial Regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the rubber or polymer industry.
  • Proven experience in developing processing procedures and parameters for new and existing materials.
  • Experience in acting as a technical liaison between engineering teams, customers, and maintenance.
