**Mechanical Press Brake Setup Operator **

Location: Mendota Heights, MN

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Mechanical Press Brake Setup Operator, you’ll be setting up and running 12-ton mechanical DiAcro press brakes to form high-quality sheet metal parts. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys precision, variety in jobs, and having a direct hand in shaping parts that matter.

A Typical Day Might Include:**

  • Interpreting blueprints to understand bend sequences and angles
  • Loading, adjusting machine settings and tooling as needed
  • Running production jobs and making real-time adjustments for quality and consistency
  • Communicating with the quality team and other operators to resolve any issues
  • Keeping your work area clean and safe
  • Supporting team production goals and helping others when needed

  • Know how to set up and run a 12-ton DiAcro press brake
  • Can read blueprints and bend drawings and follow detailed instructions
  • Are comfortable working independently after setup—and take pride in your craftsmanship
  • Pay close attention to detail and catch bend or cosmetic defects early
  • Communicate clearly and work well in a team environment
  • Understand the importance of safety, accuracy, and keeping jobs on time

**📚

Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1+ years of experience operating and setting up mechanical press brakes
  • Familiarity with basic measuring tools and ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for most of the shift
