We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Georgetown, KY. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. What are we looking for?

  • Experience in Tooling is a plus (Heavy Stamping or Injection Molding)

  • Heavy experience with large industrial machinery and Hydraulics

  • A leadership style that leads by example in a hands-on environment

  • Experience refurbishing machinery, including purchasing and implementing new equipment

  • Budget management experience

  • Experience working with outside vendors and contractors

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective repairs.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to enhance equipment reliability.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and tools to ensure availability for maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in budgeting and cost control for maintenance operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in mechanical maintenance preferred.
  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a maintenance environment.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
