SUMMARY OF POSITION: 

Responsible for final visual inspection in a Class 1000 cleanroom. Ensuring conformance to internal & external requirements using visual inspection and occasionally calibrated gaging (calipers, profilometer, micrometer). Interpreting customer drawings and specifications, and reference company work instructions and process travelers.

• Most of the job will be performed in a cleanroom environment. Wearing a bunny suit is required.
• Photograph parts after final clean / assembly before they are final packaged.
• Confirm that all necessary hardware is correctly installed (heli-coils, dowel pins, keenserts, lee plugs)
• Collect and provide data required for critical part Final Inspection Reports (FIRs)

 Qualifications:

• 0-2 years’ experience performing in-process and final inspection preferably in a machining, automotive or aerospace business
• Basic knowledge of GD&T preferred
• Visual inspection experience preferred
