SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for final visual inspection in a Class 1000 cleanroom. Ensuring conformance to internal & external requirements using visual inspection and occasionally calibrated gaging (calipers, profilometer, micrometer). Interpreting customer drawings and specifications, and reference company work instructions and process travelers.
- Most of the job will be performed in a cleanroom environment. Wearing a bunny suit is required.
- Photograph parts after final clean / assembly before they are final packaged.
- Confirm that all necessary hardware is correctly installed (heli-coils, dowel pins, keenserts, lee plugs)
- Collect and provide data required for critical part Final Inspection Reports (FIRs)
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years’ experience performing in-process and final inspection preferably in a machining, automotive or aerospace business
- Basic knowledge of GD&T preferred
- Visual inspection experience preferred
1st shift (6:00AM-2:30PM)
