We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join our team in Phoenix, CA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our mechanical components meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Utilize calipers, micrometers, guages and other tools to inspect precision parts
• Utilize various inspection tools and equipment to measure dimensions and tolerances.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior inspectors as needed.
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to mechanical inspection.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in mechanical inspection is a plus.
• Good understanding of GD&T
• Proven experience in mechanical inspection or a related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
