Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learn Afinitas drafting standards, dimensioning, and tolerances

• Create manufacturing drawings for equipment

• Create and complete bills of material for equipment

• Evaluate and implement design changes

• Learn Afinitas manufacturing processes

• Work with manufacturing on build processes and improvement

• Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office software effectively

• Prepare and deliver a presentation at end of internship

QUALIFICATIONS

• College Sophomore enrolled in Engineering that has had a previous internship with Afinitas

• College Junior or Senior enrolled in Engineering that has had a previous internship in a relevant field

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt to shifting priorities

• Attention to detail

WORK ENVIRONMENT

· This is an office position associated with a manufacturing facility. The employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the employer when in the manufacturing area.
