We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team on-site in Belle Chasse and Broussard, Louisiana. 

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of advanced crane systems used in challenging offshore environments. Responsibilities include:

• Design, analyze, and develop mechanical components and systems  based on customer requirements and industry standards
• Continuously evaluate and improve existing designs for enhanced safety, efficiency, and reliability. 
• Creating bills of materials for large projects
• Creating and revising fabrication and assembly drawings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including including production, manufacturing, purchasing and electrical.
• Ensure all engineering activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards specific  

Requirements

• 5 years' mechanical/engineering experience
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree
• Proven experience in mechanical design and analysis, preferably within offshore or heavy lifting equipment industries. 
• AutoCAD experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
